Compensation:	The salary will be in the range of $200,000 to $235,000, pending approval by the Commissioner of Education, and will include a comprehensive benefit package. The final salary for the successful candidate will be negotiated and determined based upon proven experience, qualifications and meeting Board criteria.

The Englewood Public School District (EPSD) serves students in Pre-K(full day) through 12th grade. ESPD educates approximately 2,900 students in district and 110 out of district, employs approximately 300 full-time teaching staff and its 22-23 fiscal budget is approximately $80 million. Our high school, Dwight Morrow, serves Englewood Cliffs students in a sending/receiving relationship. The high school has a competitive school choice program (Academies@Englewood) which accepts out of district students as well as Englewood/Englewood Cliffs students into its five Academies, which aim to desegregate our high school. The five Academies programs are Biomedicine, Finance, Information Systems, Law & Public Safety and Pre-Engineering. Englewood has a charter school operated by a separate Board of Trustees as well as a number of private/religious schools.

The following leadership qualities are desired:

Superintendent experience preferred.
Central Office and Building Principal Experience Required.
Strong financial acumen.
Transformational leadership experience.
Documented success in raising student achievement.
Deep knowledge of curriculum, instruction and assessment.
Experience working in a diverse, multicultural, multilingual school district is preferred.
