The Granite Falls School District is located in Snohomish County in the State of Washington.
Granite Falls School District (GFSD) serves nearly 2,000 students in grades K-12 with approximately 220 teachers, administrative, and support staff that provide students a supportive learning environment to develop life-long learning skills.
At Granite Falls School District, we focus on preparing students to be college and career ready. Our goal is to help students transition successfully between grades and graduate with the knowledge, skills, and attitude to excel in a global society and in post-secondary education.
Our district has a comprehensive academic program in addition to a special education program. We offer advanced learning programs including College in the High School, Advanced Placement Courses, and Highly Capable Program starting in kindergarten. Career and Technology Education (CTE) courses are available in business, computer science, graphic design, video production, health occupation, and manufacturing.
Our state-of-the-art high school features an auditorium, a CTE manufacturing facility, technology, and science labs. In 2019, we added a new middle school STEAM building and a covered grandstand facility. Our well-maintained schools are equipped with a high computer to student ratio with accessible technology at all grade levels.
Teachers at Granite Falls School District truly nurture students and make success a priority. Lower class sizes in primary grades give every student a great start to ensure academic progress. Our para-educators, bus drivers, secretaries, and maintenance staff are committed to providing safe and well cared for schools.

Granite Falls Middle School 6-8 (400-430 students)
Granite Falls High School 9-12 (450-500 students)
Crossroads Alternative High School 10-12 (150-180 students)
Open Doors Re-Engagement 10-12 (75+ students)
About Granite Falls:
Granite Falls is located at the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, 13 miles northeast of Everett (approx. 25 minutes) and 40 miles north of Seattle (approx. 50 minutes). Granite Falls has a rich history and our schools reflect local traditions and often are at the center of community activities like Railroad and Reunion Days in October, as well as Show-n-Shine and National Night Out in August.
